Hannah Fries is a poet, writer, and editor. She is the author of the poetry collection Little Terrarium as well as the book Forest Bathing Retreat. She grew up in New Hampshire, went to Dartmouth College, and later got an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College. From 2005 to 2014, she worked as an editor—including poetry editor—at Orion magazine. Since then, she has worked as a project editor for Storey Publishing. Her poetry and prose have appeared in such places as American Poetry Review, Massachusetts Review, Drunken Boat, Water~Stone Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and she was awarded a scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference.
